Calm Gate spiegato: un respiro prima di aprire un'app
Calm Gate is a planned BreathMate feature - coming in a future update, not available in the app yet - that will ask for one conscious breath before a chosen app opens. You would pick the apps that tend to pull you in, and Calm Gate would add a brief, deliberate pause: just enough of a gap to open them on purpose instead of on reflex.
The habit it aims to build is not "use it less" but "open it on purpose."
How it will work
- Pick your appsYou would choose the apps you want a pause in front of.
- Breathe firstWhen you open one, BreathMate would ask for a short breath.
- Then continueAfter the breath, the app opens as normal. The pause is the point.
