어디서나 할 수 있는 1분 호흡 운동

A one-minute breathing exercise is about six slow breaths with a longer exhale - roughly 4 seconds in and 6 out. That single minute is often enough to take the edge off tension, and it is easy to reach for between meetings or at a red light (eyes open, no holds).

Short and consistent beats long and rare. The trick is making it easy to start.

What to try

  • Extended exhale (4 in, 6 out) - about six rounds is a minute.
  • Physiological sigh if you want an even faster reset.

Fast option

Two physiological sighs - done in about fifteen seconds.

Longer option

Repeat the one-minute breath a few times through the day when you notice tension.

What to avoid

  • Breath holds at a red light or anywhere brief dizziness would be unsafe.
  • Rushing the exhale - slow is the point.

Evidence and limitations

Evidence: Moderate support

Even brief slow-breathing practices can shift self-reported calm and physiological arousal, and a controlled study found short daily practice improved mood over a month.[1]
